Wedding Photographer based in South Carolina
Hey, Friend!
I'm your photographer, Mara. I'm SO glad that you're here, and I can't wait to share a little part of me with you.
Few fun facts: I love SWEET iced coffee, sweet tea, singing, playing piano, and my heart... my passion is to serve couples.
Not only do I love love, but I believe that love between a man and woman is sacred. That God has designed marriage to be the most important kind of commitment (second to our salvation).
I am here to cheer you on, be a friend, a shoulder, in some of your most important moments, and laughing with you until the tears start rolling. Making a split second last a lifetime.

What does "LBK" stand for?
"LBK" stands for "Leighbuck". This business actually started off as "Leighbuck2 Photography" in 2020, when I was 19 years old. Growing up my Papa called me Leighbuck2 after my Mom who is Leighbuck. When I was trying to decide what to name my business, my Papa made a joke, and I ran with it. Jumping into 2024, I decided that I wanted to keep the sentimentality behind the name, but move in a more elegant direction. So, here we are now with "LBK Photo Co."
Type of work I do:
I'm a sucker for all things couples. Weddings, Elopements, proposal, dates. Literally just take me with you!
"Built on God's Faithfulness"
My business slogan is "Built on God's Faithfulness" because I have not gotten to this place in my business on my own. It's taken prayer, lots of faith, tears, money, and support from some important people in my life. I'm so thankful to the Lord for the path He has put me on in this life. I truly do believe that He has big things for this business. I give God all the glory for where I am today and praise Him for where He will take me in the future. It's not easy, but it's worth it!
Modern Photography
My absolute favorite thing about photography today is that it isn't only a photo taken of a family, or person sitting and smiling. But instead, it captures the movement of everyday life. Life moves so fast at times, and slower at others. To capture the moment, not in solidarity, but a moment that, in a way, looks like two. Snapping shots of genuine smiles, laughter, joy, playfulness, and sometimes even sadness. Life is a rollercoaster. Emotion after emotion comes, but in 100 years from now, your family will be able to look back on you, your spouse, your children, and see what was. And what can be for them.
How it all happens...
